Madeleine (Maddy) Baird (b. 2002) is an emerging artist from Pembroke, ON, currently based in Toronto, ON.  She has earned her Bachelor of Fine Art, Honours at Queen’s University, graduating in 2024.  Madeleine specializes in silkscreen printing and figurative oil painting, with a focus on portraiture and narrative pieces.  Her work aims to explore themes of self-reflection, vulnerability and queer life experiences.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries across Ontario, including Union Gallery in Kingston and Gallery 1313 in Toronto. Madeleine was a recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant in 2024.
